If you are curious about trying out Tenacity before the first release, we have some very early builds (Windows, macOS, Linux, some *BSDs are planned) that can be downloaded here *for the time being*: https://nightly.link/tenacityteam/tenacity/workflows/cmake_build/master
We'll eventually replace that link, this is just a temporary link that "mirrors" our latest builds from GitHub Actions.
Alternatively, if you're on Arch Linux, you can just fetch the `tenacity-git` package using your favorite AUR tool: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/tenacity-git/
I just released my maintenance script for #Mastodon that deletes inactive/dead users after some time and sending out mail notifications before deleting the user.
You can find it here:
But use at your own risk!
Another cross-platform graphical process/system monitor in Rust. Supports Linux, macOS, and Windows. Inspired by gtop, gotop, and htop.
It's been released: https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon-ios
If you are using iOS, you might want to check it out here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/mastodon-for-iphone/id1571998974?itsct=apps_box_badge&itscg=30200
The official #Mastodon app for iOS is now on the App Store! Get it here:
Picking a title for the App Store page is not easy. Just "Mastodon" is taken by someone - I can't find who or what. So needs more words. "for iOS" is redundant and not permitted. "Decentralized" is so long it doesn't leave any characters for the noun. Besides, I don't want any technical jargon. Any words that a random internet user won't immediately recognize. Twitch has it so easy with its "Twitch: Live Game Streaming". Short and clear.
@hbenjamin Apple and privacy has always been a joke. They won't give your data to anyone else, they'll just take all of it for themselves.
Now, tell me again why we can't have numbering which lets us allocate a unique number to a service? (I give a spam number, but I'd still prefer a decent-sized number block.)
QT mruef: Full phone number database of #Clubhouse is up for sale on the #Darknet. It contains 3.8 billion phone numbers. These are not just members but also people in contact lists that were synced. Chances are high that you are listed even if you haven't had a Clubhouse login.
Hi! 👋 i'm Brodi!

The social network of the future: No ads, no corporate surveillance, ethical design, and decentralization! Own your data with Mastodon!
